Side effects of MIFEGEST

Asked for Female, 25 Years

Hey. I am a 25 Year old female, and I am 3 weeks pregnant. This was not a planned pregnancy, occurred even after using contraceptive methods therefore wish to terminate it. I was suggested MIFEGEST KIT/tablet by my family doctor. Is this my best option? What are the side effects?

Hi there..You should not take self medications because there will be no guarantee for complete expulsion of fetus,and if the fetus is developing in fallopian tubes you can rupture of the tubes....ultrasound helps to confirm abdominal pregnancy and complete abortion,retained product may cause sepsis and hemorrhage....Consult nearest gynecologists they will do the needful.
