Side effect of Metformin if no PCOD
Can there be side effects of taking metformin SR tablet daily if I dont have PCOS?
My doctor prescribed me Metformin when my USG suggested PCOD but she didnt do my hormonal tests. Also i have regular periods, no hirusitusm. So I am not 100% sure whether I have PCOD or not.

If ur USG report says u have multiple follicle, start metformin and some time even if ur periods r regular and ur gaining weight we can give hormonal pill also...just to regulate the ovulation .....not for periods problems.....reduce ur weight also....as u reduce ur weight PCOD get cure by its own....ur doctor is giving u right treatment...so follow her ...
