Hi. First dislocation occured 7 years back means at that time you were 16 years old. Literature says that if you had dislocation before 18 years of age then there are 88 percent chance that your shoulder will redislocate which happened in your case and now you fall under the category of recurrent dislocation of shoulder that means if you get your shoulder MRI done it will says bankart tear with Hill sach defect in bone. There is a very high probability that you will have dislocation again. Dislocation itself is the most painful condition which requires emergency reduction, moreover every dislocation will eat up the bone in humerus head which will change the treatment from simple arthroscopic bankart repair to open surgery in the form of latarjet procedure. I think you should get yourself treated it will be a wise decision. Tc
