Shoulder dislocated
My friend hurt himself after falling on roadside while running. Now the doctor has located the shoulder and given bandage. What should be the next steps?

Important to do x-rays of shoulder and MRI too. It is easy to treat injuries when fresh. Pls post x rays taken after the treatment.

ice packs,sling n rest for 2 weeks only. u must start excercise s after that. meet orthopaedician and do as advised

do not rotate the shoulder too much. avoid lifting the hand like in throwing posture

Use sling for pain for one week. Consult orthopaedic dr. Start doing exercises shoulder once pain settles.

Continue shoulder immobilizer for 3wks after that remove it and start shoulder excerises slowly
