I am having pcos for 10 years consumed ocps 3years back currently having menses for around 20 days after a gap of 3 months left taking ocps because of side effects and since it's a temporary cure currently on lifestyle modifications so should I take ocps for ovulation inductions since I am having irregular periods

Birth control pills regulate and shorten irregular cycles, but they don't induce ovulation. In fact, they pause ovulation while you're on them.
