I'm experiencing shin pain on the lower shin bone, it increases with running and when I test my ankle ankle dorsiflexion. There is tenderness in the lower shin bone and NOT in the upper shin area. The pain is localized in the lower frontal tibial region, I even got an x Ray done but there was no issue of concern according to the report.
P.S. I play football actively

You play football .
This may be signs of a stress fracture, fine evaluation of xrays can reveal it, but MRI is always specific and superior for diagnosis.
