Pleural effusion can be better picked up with ultrasound, even minimal effusion. You would require a cardiac evaluation and few blood tests too,
Kindly consult and i can guide you for the right diagnosis, do not repeat CT's unnecessarily
C.t. chest would be better to see the effusion in detail and condition of lung tissue, mediastinal lymph nodes.
Also get cbp with ESR done .

Since CT pulmonary angiography and CECT abdomen are already normal, and there’s only minimal pleural effusion noted earlier, no further CT is needed right now. Persistent chest pain may be musculoskeletal or anxiety-related.
Please consult me directly so I can evaluate your symptoms thoroughly and guide you on the right next step.

Dear Practo User.
Thanks for sending across your query.
CT Pulmonary Angiography is detailed and usually sufficient to rule out major lung issues like clots. If it's normal and chest pain persists, consider musculoskeletal or gastrointestinal causes. No need to repeat CT unless symptoms worsen. Please follow up for pain assessment and tailored care.
