SGPT and SGOT High in pregnancy
I am 32 weeks pregnant and have itching issue in hands and legs in the night only which is very disturbing. After my LFT SGPT and SGOT levels are high with AP. Everything else seems fine. Report attached. I want to know if I have cholestasis based on this report or is there any risk associated with this.

Ur blood pressure? Platelets? Cbc repots needed to rule out hellp syndrome.

This can be either a case of Acute Fatty liver of pregnancy (AFLP) or Obstetric cholestasis. Are any other symptoms present?

What you are describing is typical of obstetric cholestasis. Your obstetrician might have given you tablets like udiliv to control it. We generally deliver the patient at 37 weeks of pregnancy and don't go beyond this gestational age as there is risk of fetal distress later on. Weekly blood tests and NST of the baby is recommended in this.
