Hello, If the second episode of unprotected intercourse occurred only about 3 hours after taking Unwanted-72, then another dose is generally not required. The emergency contraceptive taken after the first act should still be effective for intercourse that occurs shortly afterwards, as the medication remains active in the body. However, please keep the following points in mind: * Emergency contraceptive pills are not intended for regular contraception and should not be used frequently. * The next menstrual period may come a few days earlier or later than expected, and some women may experience mild spotting or nausea. * If the period is more than one week late, a pregnancy test should be done. * If unprotected intercourse continues, consider using a reliable regular contraceptive method and condoms to reduce the risk of both unintended pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections. If there are any concerns such as severe abdominal pain, excessive bleeding, or persistent irregularities, consult a gynecologist for a detailed evaluation. No, in this situation you do not need to take another Unwanted-72 tablet. Here's why: You had unprotected intercourse. Three hours later, she took Unwanted-72 (levonorgestrel 1.5 mg). Three hours after taking the pill, you had unprotected intercourse again. Levonorgestrel emergency contraception starts working after it is taken and continues to provide protection for acts of intercourse that occur later in the same menstrual cycle before ovulation, so a second dose is not routinely required for intercourse that occurs just a few hours after taking the first dose.
Next Steps
There is no need to repeat the emergency contraceptive pill for the second episode that occurred only a few hours later. However, remember that emergency contraception is not 100% effective, particularly if ovulation has already occurred. If her next menstrual period is more than 7 days late, she should do a home urine pregnancy test. If you are having regular intercourse, consider starting a reliable regular contraceptive method instead of relying on emergency pills. Health Tips
Emergency contraceptive pills should be used only for emergencies, not as a regular contraceptive method. Frequent use may cause temporary changes in the timing of the next period, spotting, or irregular bleeding, but it does not affect future fertility. Use condoms or another reliable contraceptive method to avoid repeated need for emergency contraception. Thank you

No, another dose is usually not required. If the second episode of unprotected intercourse occurred after taking Unwanted-72 (levonorgestrel), the same dose continues to provide emergency contraceptive protection for intercourse that occurs later in the same cycle. Repeating the pill just because intercourse occurred again a few hours later is generally not recommended.
