Severe sore throat
Hello Dr
I had severe throat pain ,sore throat,fever body pain ,chills,cough on and off
I took augmentin 1/2-1/2-1/2 for 5 days
Currently I don't have other symptoms but alot of throat pain and soreness
I'm having a herbal cough syrup and colora gargle
I had also lost my voice partially but i recovered not fully though
I also tend to get viral v often .
I'm slim age 33 weight 45
Plz advise

Looks like post viral infection related throat discomfort and cough
Will settle with an antiallergic treatment ( montelukast plus levocetrizine)
If throat discomfort is severe use betadine gargles or Aspirin gargles
Also you should get your annual influenza vaccination done to prevent frequent viral infections
