the pain of hip can be due to many reasons. Its good to go to a physiotherapist and get it properly assessed and diagnosed.
Next Steps
Go to a physiotherapist and take the treatment. Ultrasonic therapy helps in healing of muscle stretched or inflamed, heat therapy increases blood circulation and TENS helps in relieving pain,Exercises will increase the muscle strength.Do it for at least 2-3 weeks. You will get the relief for sure.......In chronic cases ,if not responding(no relief at all) after taking physiotherapy, need to go to an orthopedecian.

i understand your concern , i think u should consult a ortjopeadic doctor or physiotherapist.
after proper assessment , we will tell u what is the exact cause and treatment of this condition.
Hello,
Yes. You should approach your pain bit seriously.
Step 1. Consult a Ortho and do a X ray to rule out the hip join wear and tear. If result of your Xray say normal study.
Step 2. You should meet a physiotherapist because it must be the Gluteal muscle injury or Trochandric Bursitis ( inflammation of fluid filled sac at the side of your hip bone).
Next Steps
If you have any local tender pain spot please apply ice for 10-15 mins twice a day.
Health Tips
Avoid Walking for fitenss/weight loss
Avoid Cross leg sitting
