Severe IBD or IBS D
Drs are confusing me now. I used to be a ibs c patient. I was admitted in hiranandani. Dr told me to eat all the food given by them in hospital which consisted of wheat, curd, raw  salad, sweet dish, dal rice, milk dalia, idli, dosa. After six days of consuming such diet now i am ibs d. Passing stools 5 times a day. Its draining me n caused swelling. Now they say i have IBD. I also have hiatus hernia with severe erosive gastritis. Also i did food intolerance report which said i am intolerant to dairy, wheat, cow pea, soy, corn, egg, oats, cabbage, yeast. My current diet: BF: idli rava upma/poha/moong dal dosa/sprouts Mid mor: 4 velchi banana Lunch & Dinner: 2 jowar bhakri, bhaji, pulses/dal, rice. Evening snack : Pomegranate without seeds (seeds don't suit me) Pre dinner snack: Makhana/Chirmura No matter how much i eat i am always hungry. Feel as if food is not staying in stomach n passing right through me. Is there anything wrong in my diet?

Hi, It is very important to eat a balanced diet with lots of variety. IBD medications tend to be more effective in well-nourished individuals, so try to include the following in your diet every day: 8-10 glasses of water High fiber carbohydrates, oat bran, legumes, barley Proteins like lean meats, fish, eggs, nuts, poultry and soy Healthy fats like omega-3 fatty acids, olive oil and canola oil Skinless, seedless, dark-colored fruits and vegetables Vitamin and mineral supplements as recommended by your doctor Low fat dairy products or dairy substitute if lactose intolerant
Next Steps
The above are the generalised guidances. For personalised guidance & plan, share your Bio details, medical history if any & routine details. Hope you find this helpful
