Severe chronic constipation
My teenager daughter's chronic constipation has been in very bad shape since start of menstruation. Dependent on harsh laxatives  yet takes 7-15 days to evacuate. Also what are signs of inflammation in intestines can this make her constipated as well? What are the tests that should be done ?

CONSTIPATION usually does not have specific cause and usually does not require any specific tests. Colonoscopy is one tests that may be done to rule out any specific cause.

CONSTIPATION can be very well managed by correct diet and lifestyle changes.  in addition MEDICINES can be used. majority constipation are CONTROLLED without medicines if correct diet is followed.
