Hi there ..
Chicken Pox is a viral disease that needs to be tackled aggressively when it appears in adults to limit the damage and cause as less scarring as possible especially to the head and neck region.
The patient should be isolated for at least a week to avoid spread and a good protein rich diet , hydration and bed rest are important to promote a quick recovery.
Treatment with antiviral tablets is useful if begun early in the course of the disease and leads to a better prognosis.
