Severe adenoids hypertrophy
Hello sir, my son x-ray reports says that he is having severe adenoids hypertrophy and doctor suggest for surgery. My question : 1) is there any treatment without surgery? 2) can surgery is permanent treatment for this problem or it will form after sometime?

If your son has symptoms of severe nasal obstruction, mouth breathing and snoring for few months to year then surgery is the best treatment as it gives permanent relief. Sometimes intra nasal steroid sprays are tried which can work in some children but in severe cases surgery is the better option
