Adenoids surgery
Hi sir/Madam, My kid is 3.6 years old and he has enlarged adenoids. Due to which he has trouble in sleeping, frequent cold and cough. And also he is not gaining weight. We have been suggested to go for surgery as the x ray showed the adenoids are quite big. Our concern is that he is under weight. 11.4 kg. Is it ok to go for the surgery, considering the weight. Please suggest on this and we will be very thank full.

The thing to understand here is that just the fact he is unable to eat and grow indicate need for surgery. Your doctor will take all precautions, I am sure they’ll let you know any speciations. Do go ahead with surgery. He really needs it.
