Adenoids and tonsils
Hello.. my 4.5 years old son have symptoms for 2 years .. mouth breathing .. runny nose.. sleep apnea .. xray show enlarge adenoids.. my son not have any throat issue means pain etc.. now question is .. doctor says remove both adenoids and tonsils.. but i insisted to doctor plz remove only adenoids .. not tonsils then doctor say ok i remove only adenoids.. so i do right?

If adenoid hypertrophy is large blocking nasopharynx, it's better to do adenoidectomy, if tonsils are of normal size no need to remove it.

Wait for 6 months for only adenoid surgery Till then use spray and tablets
