You night have caries. Sometimes, it is not visible to naked eye, kindly get an x- ray as advised by the dentist, then you can get the required treatment. However, get proper instructions regarding flossing as it will help you with food lodgement issues

Hi! Since you’ve been experiencing severe, persistent sensitivity and discomfort for the past two months, along with disturbed sleep and a tingling or vibrating sensation, this may not be just simple sensitivity. It could be due to deep decay, a cracked tooth, proximal caries or nerve inflammation (pulpitis). Sensitive toothpaste and mouthwash can help only in mild cases, but in your case, a proper clinical exam and an X-ray are needed. I strongly recommend visiting a dental clinic soon to get the tooth checked and treated properly, possibly with a filling or root canal depending on the condition. Also, if you're using Sensodyne or any desensitizing toothpaste, do not use it for more than 15 days continuously without a dentist's supervision.
