Serum Uric Acid and Protein intake
Earlier when I got my blood work done, my serum uric Acid was around 9.5, now it is 8.5, Earlier my protein intake was 140, now i reduced it to 120 grams, my lean body mass is around 78 Kgs. I adequately hydrate myself with 4 litres of water every day, and I am following One Meal A Day (OMAD), consuming 68 grams of protein in one meal (chicken, multigrain wheat, 2 eggs). Rest of the intake is completed through one protein bar in the morning and 1 milk - yeast protein shake post - workout. Earlier my body weight was 120 kgs when 9.5 serum uric Acid was detected. And I now i have lost 17 KGs, being 103 KGs my Serum Uric Acid is 8.5. Why is my Serum Uric Acid still not in control ? Even after having having the bare minimum protein required for Active lifestyle, working out 6 days a week, with weight lifting and Cardio.
