Lump can be due to:
• Post-surgical skin tag or residual pile tissue
• Edema (swelling) from healing
• Granulation tissue (normal healing tissue)
In most cases, this is benign and gradually reduces over a few weeks.
Next Steps
Check for increasing size, bleeding of fever.
Continue taking medications as prescribed.
• Maintain soft stools (high-fiber diet + plenty of fluids)
• Take warm sitz baths 2–3 times daily
• Avoid straining during defecation
