Sensations in Knee joint
I'm overweight and now days after stopping gym for last 5 months, I'm having sensations in my knee joint (not pain)while climbing stairs. I don't feel strength in my joints specially in lt knee . Can you explain why and how can I improve the knee joints problem?

Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

As you have said you are overweight that could be the factor. Moreover as you have stopped gym your muscles tend to get stuff and stretching your hamstring, quadriceps and gluteus muscle is the need of hour and you will see instant relief following the stretching routine.

Hello there...... I went through your query...... Maintain a healthy weight. Being overweight strains back muscles and your knee joint..... If you're overweight, trimming down can prevent knee pain.... Take a break from your normal activities to reduce repetitive strain on your knee, give the injury time to heal and help prevent further damage......
