This might be because of tight muscles in your thighs and calf or your muscles are too weak or any OA changes( you are too young for that). You need to start with stretching your quads ( front thigh muscles) your Hams( Back thigh muscles) and your Calf(bulk behind your lower leg). And strengthen the same. Stretching exercises : each position to be maintained for 15 seconds  3 sets daily twice.  Ice application will bring down the pain and relax the muscles. -Stand with your affected knee bent and then bend it until your toe touches your bum.your thighs should now be in line with the normal one. -Stand by placing your affected leg on a chair. Heel on the chair with knee straight and back straight bend forward until you feel a tightness behind your thighs. -Stand at the edge of a step and try to lift your body up and go down slowly until you feel a Stretch in your calf. -Try doing all the strengthening exercises for thigh muscles.
Next Steps
proper warm up before a walk or you may have some vitamin deficiency or intake of protein rich food is not enough or intake of water is not sufficient or overweight may be cause or muscles may be tight or weak stretching and strengthening to be done daily
Health Tips
General body exercises daily will keep you feel fresh and healthy. If knee pain persist you need to meet an orthopaedic doctor.

Bicycle Legs – Lie on your back, bringing your legs in the air and bending them at the knee. Slowly, begin to pedal your legs as if you were riding a bicycle. You can also do the same motion one leg at a time, alternating your legs between sets. Side Lunges – Stand with your legs hip-width apart. Step to the side with your right leg, bending your right knee at a 90-degree-angle. Your left leg should be at a slight ankle. To resume your starting position, slowly begin to straighten your right leg, bringing your leg back into hip-width stance. Repeat on the left leg. Remember to make sure your knee stays directly over your ankle when performing the side lunge.
