Seizure for baby
My baby girl one year old. She got seizure thrice without fever. MRI and EEG reports are normal. Doctor told it's common in babies till 5 years. Doctor told, If it continues after 5 years, medicine will be prescribed. No history of family seizures. But when she got seizure first time, she had fever. We rushed to hospital but seizure continued for half an hour.  Would it cause some pblm? She jerkes at times. Is it normal? My question is what causes seizure? Is it due to intense activity or tiredness?  she's hyper active baby.Pls help

Seizure with out fever is alarming.... Her developmental milestones are normal...? Was she admitted after birth?

A proper history has to be taken as regards, the type of seizure, the duration of seizures , the triggering factors etc to come to a diagnosis. And even though the MRI and EEG are normal , seizure without fevers is not common / normal in children less than 5 years of age. The child needs to be under  proper anti - seizure medication regime to prevent further reccurences of the seizure ,for at least the next 3 to 5 years. Please consult an established pediatric setup or a pediatric neurologist for the same.
