Sciatica pain
Suffering from sciatica since 3 weeks. 2 weeks ago consulted a doctor on practo, he suggested to take tablets of gabapin 100 and hifenac ( only if it pains, as it didn't pain much I didn't use hifenac) for 2 weeks. The pain reduced but numbness in the left foot heel hasn't gone completely. It improved little but not vanished. Please suggest any further investigation.

Tablets alone are not going to help. You need posture correction, back support, physiotherapy with back muscle strengthening exercises also.
Next Steps
Better to get a consultation before investigating any further.

Hello dear Thanks for reaching out. Your issue needs prompt attention. Numbness in sciatica patient is not a good sign. You need to give more details including whether the pain goes down your leg uptil the heel or there is any incident of slippage of chappals while walking. The symptoms might worsen if not properly addressed. Please get an urgent consult and an MRI Regards Dr Vipin Gupta
Next Steps
Consult an orthopaedic surgeon with detailed history in person or online if not possible

Hello .. You can continue with Pregabalin 75 Mg SR 1 tab at night time for another 15 days and see the results. OR Gabapentin 100. Avoid tight wearing shoes/clothes & sitting down on floor.
Next Steps
If needed get an MRI if pain doesn’t subside after consulting an Orthopedist.
