Hi I'm taking encrote 400 MG. And olanzipine 5 MG. But before this I was taking .5 MG of clonazepam . Is clonazepam.5 MG better than oleanz 5 MG because oleanz 5 MG increased my lipid levels . Will clonazepam help me in good sleep and lipid profile also won't change

Yes definitely clonazepam is a Benzodiazepines class of drugs ..it may be works a s a muscle relaxant and and will help in sleep and it will not increase your lopid level and cholesterol.. even people r taking it for quite longer time

Olanzapine might not have been started only for sleep disturbance. Clonazepam will help sleep but if there is any other issue for which olanzapine was preferred over clonazepam, it will not address that.

Hi sir, Olanzapine and Clonazepam are different classes of medicines. Olanzapine is an antipsychotic and Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine used for sleep issues, anxiety etc. Therefore, one medicine cannot be replaced by the other. Kindly consult a psychiatrist to undergo complete evaluation and optimization of medicines
