2 years back I faced health anxiety for which I am taking treatment. Recently I saw a video of a Rabies patient and it scared me. 8 years back I accidentally stepped on a sleeping stray dog and the dog tried to bite me for 2-3 sec over my jeans until I step on his leg. The bite was not painful I just felt his teeth and what I remember is there was no scar or blood due to it and my jeans didn't get torn. So basically I felt no need for any medical attention or to get vaccines but now as I am too anxious and the thought of the incident stays in my mind.
Please help me to understand what could be done now.

Rabies only happens acutely.
As it is 100% fatal, the symptoms would have appeared right away.
After 8 years nothing will happen since no blood or saliva had come in contact with the skin directly there’s nothing to worry about.
You can't get rabies after 8 years
Don't panic. It is not a problem at all.
Taking a vaccine now won't help either. But again you have nothing to be worried about at all
Kindly avoid stepping on dogs though
Good Afternoon sir..

Humans Brain have tendency foregt things..!! Forget the things like nothing has happened to you..!!
best wishes!!
You won’t get rabies after these many years
If you’re still anxious get a slit skin smear Biopsy done to see for any Rabies Virus or Corneal scraping for virus
Rabies is transmitted through the saliva of an infected animal, typically via:
• Bite that breaks the skin
• Saliva contacting mucous membranes or open wounds
In your case:
• The bite didn’t break skin
• No visible blood, no torn clothing, no pain
• 8 years have passed with no symptoms
This was not a rabies exposure. You were not at risk, and no treatment was needed at that time.
Rabies has an incubation period of 1–3 months on average, rarely longer than 6–12 months. 8 years without symptoms rules out any possibility of rabies from that incident.
