Is it safe to take augmentin 625 duo tab in 1-1-1 quantity for 5 days for allergic rhinitis? A doctor has prescribed this quantity but I thought it is quite high dose. Please help regarding the same.

Augmentin is Amoxicillin with Clavulunic acid. Usually given as BID dosage i, e. Twice a day dose. If the Diagnosis is Allergic rhinitis then I don't think Antibiotics is required. Treat the Allergy by avoiding allergens and with Antihistamines and Intranasal steroids.
