Rtpc - COVID report
Hello doctor
My inlaw is suffering from covid since last 5days and was isolated on 3rd day. she is willing to join a marriage/family gathering. So we did a repeat test of RTPC which resulted positive again with CT Value 30.
She is now saying that someone told her that since the CT value is 30 and although the report is covid positive she can join gatherings!!
Kindly clarify

It all depends how much care you have for the fellow beings. Ct value only shows the viral load. But to infect others in a gathering one virus is also good enough.
She may be safe (due to high Ct value) but others coming in contact with her are not safe.
