While some alcohol is cleared from the bloodstream within a day, allowing a longer period of abstinence is recommended for the most reliable results. Minimum: 24 hours. Better: 48 hours. Optimal: 72 hours. Waiting 2-3 days ensures that your hydration levels and kidney function have returned to their normal baseline.

Take a gap of 1 month after completely stopping the consumption of beer to do repeat tests. For renal functions you can get 6 monthly checkup regularly. For diabetes your HbA1c should be checked every 3 months along with fasting glucose and CRP For hypertension get your lipid profile also, every 6 months.

Beer do not affect the renal function and also you don’t have to check renal function every 6 months . Do a complete health check every year . Keep a good control on sugar and BP by diet and exercise
