Root Canal Treatment + Crown
I have been suggested root canal treatment on my front tooth. I am not sure whether to go with crown or not. I believe using crown will remove my tooth structure by 20-30% Can i leave the crowning part, get my root canal treatment and get a composite filing ? Is there any harm that i am not aware of ?

Hello Yes you should go for crown definitely after rct is done Tooth doesn’t have strength of its own it will fracture soon when you bite and eat from that part Crown is to protect your tooth from further damage and go for the best crown called as 3M lava premium or eMac which which cost you 10k and also comes with warranty

Once the tooth is root canal treated it's not as strong as your otherwise nontreated teeth. Moreover there will be gradual discoloration of the root canal treated tooth over the years. So it's always better it to get it crowned.

Hi..there is no meaning of root canal without crown. Putting crown will make teeth stronger not weaker. Don't put your logic. Listen to dentists. Regards

Yes indeed it is very much imperative to go for crown for simple two reasons. Firstly it will protect the tooth from getting fractured as tooth become brittle after root canal treatment. Secondly it will help to save your filling after root canal as it can also come out in future leading to failure of treatment.
Next Steps
Get crown before it's too late.
Health Tips
Make sure it's a good quality aesthetic crown as it's a case of front tooth.
