Ringworm on thighs
My wife is having ringworm on thighs, we used itchguard+ and sapat lotion still it is not disappearing. It has been around 2 months Please advice medicine for permanent cure. Attched photo for reference

You may be suffering from tinea cruris which is fungal infection of the inner thighs, groin and buttocks area. It is also called jock itch. It can be treated by taking four to six weeks of anti fungal treatment which includes tablets along with creams. Do not use soap over that area. Mistreatment with over the counter Steroid containing creams like fourderm, panderm, quadriderm, dermi5, cloben g betnovate, dermikem OC, candid b etc lead to repeated case of recurrence and also side effects due to application. Don’t treat yourself . Keep cleanliness and treat other affected members of family also as it can spread ..Rest consult online as a proper treatment is to be taken for atleast 2-3 months .

No.. specific Medicine available...Fungus  infection....common around skin folds like thighs and genitals.. avoid sweating, sharing clothes,towels and soap.. specific medicine required depends on the severity.. for detailed prescription do direct online consultation

Hello sir, fungal infection can be resistant to only topical applications , she may also require oral medications. The treatment should be continued atleast for 6 to 8 weeks, even if symptoms do not persist to avoid relapse.
