My friend is suffering from right knee swelling it is paining while walking. We have diagnosed and attached the report(right supra patellar bursitis).Some doctors gave medicine and asked to take rest. Others suggested for operation. We are worried. Please suggest proper guiendance to cure the problem.

First thing is to find out the root cause of your swelling.
There are multiple reasons for the same.
As far as the treatment part is concerned, that depends upon size of the swelling and duration of the swelling and any associated injury of the knee.
If the size is small and no any other inury or problem then you can go ahead with medications and rest
If size is big and associated with some injury or no relief after taking rest and medications then surgery can be proposed
Next Steps
Get an MRI of your knee done. that will clear out the things .
