Knee cap is probably not the solution for chronic pain. Important information is whether there was some knee injury/ standing xray/clinical examination.

Hello Knee pain which is chronic would most likely be Osteoarthritis of the which has to be confirmed with examination and standing xrays of the knee Avoid knee cap if it is no longer making you feel better It might do more harm than good by pressing your knee cap onto your thigh bone causing more pain Take medication for now in form of any painkiller Calcium Vitamin D 60k once a week Do excercises in the form of cycling Avoid squatting and sitting crossed leg. Kindly follow up after 3 weeks
