Right hand swelling due to a small injur
There was a small accident and my right hand has a swelling. Once xray was done doctor is asking us to make a surgery and he diagnosed it is 5th metacarpal neck angulation. I'll send the photo also I want to know more about its surgery requirements

Yes there is fracture of 5 TH metacarpal If there is a angulation and visible deformity even after closed reduction than surgery is needed

Yes there is fracture of neck of 5th metacarpal bone Surgery is indicated if there is angulation and visible deformity even after closed reduction and cock up slab application
Next Steps
If the reduction is not proper and deformity still present then can go for surgery
