My Mom has a swollen right feet. A few weeks back both the feets were swollen due to protein excretion from urine. Now that is ok and taken care of. But then due to knee issues the right feet stays swollen. Volini sprays are the only respite and keeps the pain away for some time. Also she has some blood flow issues in the leg veins and a Doppler test was done in this regard. This complicates the issue and the doctor has suggested taking rest and keeping the leg at an elevated position while sleeping.
Kindly help in letting me know whether we are on the right course. Also note she is under medication for hypertension and takes Metoprolol and losartan daily with occasional usage of Clonazepam as advised by doctor.

Since she is a hypertensive, make sure serum creatinine and LFT are within normal limits ! If normal, I need further details to come to a diagnosis, for which you could contact me .
