Right epigastric pain, High ALT and AST.
AST-58, ALT-170, right side epigastric pain for +3 years. Pain frequency and intensity increased in last 1 year. My age is 24 ,male. My S.triglyceride, vldl Cholesterol is high. And 25-oh vitamin D is <8.1ng/ml. I took vitamin D supplement,liv.52 syrup and q star forte capsules ( coenzyme q10,EPA&DHA,l-arginine with selenium softgel) for 3 months but i still have pain . I repeated LFT again and results are same everything normal other then ALT and AST. What should be my next plan for dignosis?

Hello Practo User! I think you should’ve got an ultrasound of abdomen done to rule out fatty liver or swelling or any infection of the liver...sometimes you have tenderness on pressing the upper abdomen in your right side which may be common but it if it really pains then you need to consult a doctor...
