Elevated ALT in pregnancy and itching
Hello doctor I m 31 week pregnant and having severe itching all over the body. I had urticaria problem for 2 years and it was cured completely..i was alright till 2 nd trimester but now it started again during 29th week of pregnancy.. i got liver function test done and ALT is 99 (33 is the biological reference interval in the lab) and AST is 36. I have started taking levocetirizine tab once in two days  . My doctor hasnt asked me to take udiliv tab yet. I wanted to know is ALT 99 is high which needs medication? This range can cause cholestasis of pregnancy? Thanks!
