Right ctev for new born
Hi, my son has born right ctev. Initially doctor told it will go with manipulation , after 3 months we started casting. But the problem is cast is coming out within 1-2 days after putting. Is it normal . Doctor is saying it's normal due to baby skin

Some time plaster will be loose after some days. they can extend the plaster upto thigh with knee bend to 90. to prevent it coming down.

Normally the ctev plaster is above knee well moulded with flexing knee to little more than 90degrees. Mostly it stays. But in chubby and actively moving kid, it may slip out sometimes.

Not normal..weekly casting can be tried. But 1-2 days is too little time for the cast to come out .
