Calcium carbonate is best taken with meals that too in small doses

Any calcium should be taken either half an hour before or two hours after the meals. So you are doing it right by spacing your Shelcal from your breakfast

It is best to take it after meal..which you are doing..if you develop intolerance or constipation to it better to take it in between the meals
