Result interpretation of hepatitis b
One of my friends underwent blood test where he found positive for hepatitis b. Below are the results that he got, HBV- Hepatitis B viral load (Quantitative) -  940 IU/ml Log value - 2.97 HBV - Hepatitis B Viral load - 5471 copies/ml Wanted to the result interpretation whether it is positive or negative for hepatitis b. Please help me out. Below is the attachment of lab test result

The report shows that your friend is Having Hepatitis B infection but the viral load is less, which means if the treatment for Hepatitis B is started now, it is  very likely that he will respond well and the infection can be controlled from spreading further.
