Renal Mass and Lung Nodules
Recently did a PET SCAN for my father, where the Renal mass is less than 4 cm, FDG intake is low and for the lung nodules comments are looks like inflamatory than metastasis, we are planinng for Nephrectomy, but am worried with the lung nodules , can anyone please suggest

Can a clarity be given on size and fdg avidity of the lung nodule? If very small we need to observe it after partial /radical nephrectomy.. if lung nodule more than 1cm and targetable, we can biopsy the lung nodule to document if it is inflammatory or malignant (this will clarify all doubts)

based on size of nodule the lung nodule can be either observed or biopsies. the kidney lesion needs surgery nevertheless

size of the lung nodule , less than a centimetre ? than it may not be a significant , but you have to follow it and go for partial nephrectomy
