Removal of lump on scalp
I have a few lumps on the scalp which need to be removed by a General Surgeon. These probably are sebaceous cysts as per earlier diagnosis. Would like references to get this done in an uncomplicated manner. Most hospitals seem to be complicating things making it difficult for me to make a decision.

hello. from the pictures it looks like sebaceous cyst( d/d Limpoma - ie harmless growth of fat cells ) your dr has correctly advised to remove them surgically if it it causing you any problem ( usually cosmetic or if infected.)
Next Steps
The removal is easy and under local anesthesia. (Not clear from your msg why hospitals are complicating a simple and benign condition and a  minor surgical procedure for removal) or it can be drained out but usually recurs. no oral medications can treat it. it needs removal or drainage. consult your surgeon, he has given you correct advice.

Take on line consultation if you need more info. Thanks.
