Removal of k-wire
I met with an accident 6 yrs back. Had a k-wire fixation on my left elbow. Now I am getting pain anf want to remove that. Please suggest me what best I can do.

6 years are enough for stabilization and now you can go for removal without hesitation. Go to a orthopedic surgeon and get it removed.

The wire has served its purpose and can be removed surgically. Contact your treating or nearest orthopaedic surgeon for implant removal surgery.
