Regestrone CR 10 mg
I had irregular period for one cycle and I was suggested Regestrone CR 10 mg to regulate the same. The periods came after four days of stopping the medicine. This time again my periods are delayed. I have taken regestrone cr 10 mg for five days. It's been three days since I stopped the medicine. How long should I wait before going to the doctor?

At the age of 43 years you come in the category of perimenopausal state. It needs detailed investigations including ultrasound scan and D&C . Please don't take it casually. You should consult a Gynaecologist in your area for a detailed examination.

This  medicine will only help you get your periods the cycle you take it it is never used to regulate your periods in the subsequent cycles You need investigations to find out the reason for the delay rather than randomly taking this every cycle The wait period is up to 10 days after the last dose if there is no pregnancy
