Regarding ROP screening
I have twins baby born at 32 weeks of weight 1.8kg individual. Rop examination are painful examination or not? Any side effect after ROP screening. Doctor opthalmologist send that we are not responsible anything happens during examination. Some doctor do this test in OT in presence of anesthesiology. Is this risky test? Baby eyes movement looks like normal? Stage 1 and stage 2 ROP cure itself.

During ROP procedure, medications are required to dilate pupils that is the reason opthal doctor take consent from u with respect to complications of the drug used but it has very less incidence..
