Regarding Pregnancy diabetes query
I'm 7th month pregnant. In glucose test I got 88 -fasting, 195- first hr , 162 - 2nd hr reports. After 3 days by having metformin 500 mg twice a day I got 90 - fasting and 98 after breakfast.
Is it necessary to continue to have metformin 500mg twice a day. After consuming that tablet complete weakness and headache is there.

Diabetologists do not recommend use of Metformin during pregnancy. If diet and lifestyle fails to achieve target glycemia then we advise insulin
