OGTT से ज़्यादा आपको GCT की ज़रूरत है। The difference between any other individual and a pregnant woman is that pregnancy is Diabetogenic. So a woman having normal blood sugar levels may suddenly develop Diabetes as the pregnancy advances.
Similarly the control should be meticulous.
So don't go by blood sugar levels. Get GCT done.
