Concor Cor 2.5 mg is a prescription beta-blocker medicine containing bisoprolol fumarate, used to treat high blood pressure, chest pain (angina), and stable chronic heart failure. It works by slowing the heart rate and reducing the heart's workload.
if concor 2.5mg dose was working best for your hypertension or heart failure, you must continue the same 2.5mg dose. dont reduce it to 1.25mg without talking to your cardiologist. consistently up regulating and down - regulating will lead to side effects like increased BP or high heart rate or worsening of angina or heart failure. so dont self medicate. please fix to the dose required and dont change.
