It is better avoided. For leg pains you may try some physical measures like hot fomantation  and remidal exercises. You may visit my YouTube channel 'drncgupta' and watch 'me and my yoga' for guidance for exercises Or else contact a physiotherapist.

It is an amino acid and is secreted in breast milk. Better to avoid. For leg pain there are other simpler drugs that can be taken. Apply a crepe bandage. And some hot packs. It will go away

It is better to be on the safer side and avoiding it unless necessary..Exact dosage on safety is not yet proven.. Also your leg pain can be due to other reasons.. So considering the risk to benefits with the drug it is better to avoid..
