It is important to treat the TB at first as he is currently immunocompromised he's at a higher risk of acquiring further infections,so it is important that he stays in isolation and is treated for TB while also monitoring the condition and status of the liver. The treatment will be complicated as he is immunocompromised. I can't comment on chances without having a detailed knowledge of the case.
